Dan was born in a small town in Scandinavia. There was never really much to do and no other children for him to play with, so he wound up immersing himself in video games to pass the time. As he grew more and more into these games he discovered the MMO genre, and realized its potential for making friends around the world. As time passed MMOs started to become the only game that Dan would play, and on the announcement of SAO, he quickly began working multiple part time jobs in order to make sure he could get his own copy.
