QUESTS
OVERVIEW
Questing is the best way to get lump sums of EXP, COL, and items. A player created quest will have no mod interaction. You are responsible for dictating your own fighting, dancing, eating, or whatever you need to do for your quest.
Event quests run by a mods will have greater rewards and will, in some cases, have active participation by the staff responsible for it.
CREATING QUESTS
Creating quests is a simple matter. Pick a monster or an objective. That's pretty much it. However, there is a limit as to which monsters you can presently fight. This limit is determined by the monster's LEVEL and DEF stat.
The monster's level must be at or lower than the player's level. Furthermore, the monster's DEF stat must be no more than 10 points higher than the player's ATK stat.
EXAMPLE: If your ATK is 10 and the monster's DEF is 25 (15 points more than your ATK), you cannot presently fight this monster.
While we use no specific numbers for neither HP nor damage, understanding how these work is a rather simple matter - as shown below. If the player and monster's ATK and DEF stats match, the damage given and received is deemed AVERAGE or NORMAL. However, should the monster possess a higher DEF, damage received will decrease. On the other hand, if the monster's DEF is lower than the player's ATK, damage received will increase.
PLEASE NOTE THAT A HIGH ATK VS LOW DEF DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU CAN ONE-HIT KO ENEMIES. FAIR PLAY AND COMMON SENSE MAY BE REQUIRED.
To apply, simply fill out the below quest form and submit it as a new thread in the Quest Board segment. If the quest is left open for other players to join, it is the creator's responsibility to inform the staff when everything is in order. Please make sure that the topic title reflects the name of the quest (i.e. Hunting Boars).
The quest may not begin before receiving the approval of a member of the staff.
